THIS IS FOR THE WAITLIST. Mah Jongg Gathering hosted by Neil Neil Orange Peel! The popular monthly Mah Jongg gathering is back!! Date: Tuesday, March 24th 2026 Play Time: 12pm-3pm (3 hours) Location: 45 Schooner Drive, Cotuit MA We will have EIGHT tables of Mah Jongg!! Just bring your Mah Jongg card - all tables will be set up with tiles, racks & pushers. We will be playing with a mix of traditional Mah Jongg tiles and Boutique Mah Jongg Tiles. This event is NOT for brand new players; you must have working knowledge of how to play Mah Jongg. Playing for Value of the Card: We will be playing for the Value of the card with additional Mah Jongg payout rules outlined below. Bring $5.00 in change! If you don't know how to play for money but are willing to learn, then just bring $5.00 in change and the tables will teach you. It's easy! House Rules below: Charleston Roll of Doubles: If East rolls doubles on the Charleston and East gets Mah Jongg - all players pay double. Winning on a discard: The player who discarded the winning Mah Jongg tile pays double the hand's value to the winner; the other players pay the face value. Winning by self-pick: If a player draws their own winning tile from the wall, all other players pay double the hand's value. Jokerless hands: Payment is doubled for a winning hand that does not contain jokers. All players pay the winner double the card value. (Other rules apply above as well)! Food & Beverages: I will provide drinks and light snacks. If you want to bring a small snack, please do - but you do not have to!
